Time passed, turning everything into ice.
Under the ice, the future stirred.
If you fell into it, you died.
It was a time
of waiting, of suspended action.
I lived in the present, which was
the part of future you could see.
The past floated above my head,
like the sun and the moon,
visible but never reachable

Il tempo passò, trasformando tutto in ghiaccio.
Sotto il ghiaccio, il futuro si agitava.
Se ci cadevi dentro, eri morto.
Era un tempo
di attesa, di azione sospesa.
Vivevo nel presente, che era
quella parte di futuro che potevi vedere.
